The 2024 Geothermal Rising Conference will be held at the Hilton Waikoloa Village in Waikoloa, Hawai'i.

Geothermal Rising has negotiated a special block specifically for our event attendees. All conference attendees should make every effort to stay at the official event hotel. Supporting the official hotel room block provides staff support to resolve hotel reservation disputes; ensures attendees receive all applicable discounts and materials; and assists GR in maintaining affordable, quality programming. 

The conference hotel room rate varies by size and location. Rates range from $299.00 - $479.00 per night (plus $25 per room/per night Resort Fee and applicable taxes). Rooms are available on a first-come, first-serve basis through the September 30, 2024, reservation deadline. After this time, reservations will be available based on hotel occupancy and availability.

Please note that the hotel will never call or contact you directly about making reservations. To ensure your room is in the official Geothermal Rising Room Block, you should only book your room by using the forthcoming housing link or by calling the Hilton Waikoloa Village directly.

The Hilton Waikoloa Village is a 20-minute car ride from the Kona International Airport. The Hilo Airport is more than an hour’s drive from the resort.

If a guest who has requested a room within the Room Block checks out prior to the guest's reserved checkout date, the Hotel will add an early checkout fee to that guest's individual account (currently, $100.00). Guests wishing to avoid an early checkout fee should advise the Hotel 72 hours prior to departure date.

To confirm a sleeping room within the Room Block, the sleeping room must be secured with a valid credit card. A one night deposit is required at the time of booking. If cancelled within 72 hours to arrival a one night room and tax penalty will apply. Checks and major credit cards are acceptable to establish prepayment. All credit cards used to prepay the room deposit may be charged immediately.
