Kevin is currently the Geothermal Advisor for RTS Headquarters at Baker Hughes. His focus is on adding technical expertise and knowledge in our geothermal offerings to enhance RTS and Baker Hughes position as market leaders in Energy Transition. His experience in geothermal spans 20 years where he first conducted his thesis studies on the geochemistry of shallow hydrothermal systems, with a focus on subsurface characterization in support of expanding the global contribution of geothermal energy. Implementing skills and knowledge learned over several years in exploration with major oil and gas operators, he then focused on efforts to de-risk geothermal prospects. Kevin holds a bachelor’s in geology from Salem University and a master’s in geochemistry from the University of South Florida. Since recently joining Baker Hughes, he’s held various positions in geochemistry, petroleum systems, basin modeling, consulting, and technical account management. He is a key internal and external influence of geothermal through development of technical strategies and involvement in critical research and development focus areas.
