Prior to GreenFire Energy, Rob was the Director of Geothermal Technologies and Innovation for Baker Hughes, responsible for advancing geothermal energy projects across the company and driving new and innovative technology. Baker Hughes is a strategic investor in GreenFire Energy and Rob was the executive liaison that championed GreenLoop technology throughout the company. He served as the Executive Director of the Wells2Watts Geothermal Consortium with major oil and gas operators and was overseeing the testing of GreenLoop in the first-ever closed-loop testing facility in Oklahoma City, OKC.

With 15 years of experience in subsurface technology development for geothermal, oil and gas, and CCUS, Rob held managerial and technical roles at Baker Hughes, General Electric, EERC- University of North Dakota, and The Geysers at Calpine. He has authored and co-authored over 25 publications, filed over 12 U.S. and worldwide patents in energy development and digital solutions, and has presented at many conferences. Rob received a B.S. and M.S. from the Harold Hamm School of Geology at the University of North Dakota.
