- 6:00 PM - 6:30 PM | GR Student Members Icebreaker | Ice breaker events are designed to help people get to know each other and create a comfortable atmosphere for interaction. Come join the student committee for an icebreaker to kick off the conference! It is an informal event or opportunity for students to meet the GR student committee and other student members. - 12:30 PM - 2:30 PM | Planning Your Career, and Developing the Next Generation Workforce in the Energy Transition | Join us after lunch in The Monarchy Ballroom for an engaging panel hosted by NextGenGeo. Aimed at empowering emerging and senior level geothermal professionals, this session will explore transitioning from academia to industry, effective workforce planning, and the value of mentorship. Engage with panelists through thought-provoking discussions and interactive activities designed to help you navigate career development in the evolving energy landscape. Well then join us for a coffee break with a pre-selected potential mentor to connect with at the conference and beyond! Mentors have been chosen as some of the most successful professionals in industry and academia, and have graciously donated their time and talents to help the next generation of geothermal professionals.
